Fantastic Book

I was explaining to my six year old how his cut would heal and told him that his body would form a fence to keep out the germs and allow his body to grow new skin. I suddenly remembered this fantastic book which explained all of this and more. I was thrilled to see that Usborne still publishes How Your Body Works. This book does a wonderful job of explaining how your body works in a fun (and obviously memorable) fashion. I cannot recommend it enough. The only caveat is that it does explain where babies come from. So if you are not ready to share that with your kids, hold off for a year or two then add it to your library.
